Bruises and a Birthday WOD celebration!
WoooooHoooooo it is Friday and a long holiday weekend! I am so excited that it is the weekend and that we have Monday off. Total feeling of bliss!
I started this morning off with a wonderful Crossfit class with my lil crossfit family and it was awesome! Our teacher never showed up to class though……which was kind of a bummer, but at the same time it was great and motivational because...

Trader Joes to the Rescue!
O Trader Joe’s how I missed you and your good deals and extremely long line !
How do I start this one? Today while at work I was reading Paleo Plan’s blog and listening to Balanced Bits podcasts (still working :) aka multitasking at its finest) when it hit me……. I really need to spend more time on Sunday afternoons preparing my weekly lunches. So I found an example...
Mugggggggy!!
Waiting on the bus and omg it is so muggy it’s insane! Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!
Had to get that off my mind! :)
Anywho woke up this morning bright and early to go running and I knew it was going to start raining. I could feel the air saturated with water, huge rain droplets just ready to fall. I made those raindrops my clock: get a fast run in and at least be heading back home when it started to...

Did I Tell You?
Did I tell you that I finally did a Double Under last week at crossfit? Well I did and I am still plum happy excited about it. When I first started crossfit I couldn’t do a DU for the life of me and I still can’t really, but I did get one! Another move I have improved on is burpees with a tuck jump. We did them this morning during our WOD and I actually “tucked” my jumps!...

- Lunch was delicious and totally hit the spot. I got a Greek salad which comes already made with lettuce, purple olives,...

Paleo Bread Review!
So while searching for new Paleo recipes to try, I came across this Coconut Flour Paleo Bread from the blog Chocolate & CarrotsĀ and knew I had to try it asap! The recipe looked super easy and contained only 6 ingredients…how much easier could it be!?
The recipe calls for coconut oil of course and I have been eyeing it for a while now at the stores, but hadn’t bought any yet...

Workouts So Far this Week!
Monday: Crossfit
The overall theme for this week at Crossfit is no heavy bar work, all body weight! When this was announced Monday morning, I gleamed with excitement because if this means one thing that is more running incorporated into our WODs!
Warm-up: Safeway Run and cat/cow stretches
Metcon: 20 minute AMRAP of block run, 20 squats, 20 lunges, 20 knees to elbows, and max rep handstands (I...

On Saturday night, after an early evening run consisting of all hills, I fixed us the most delicious lasagna sans noodles and we didn’t miss the noodles one bit!
