Bittersweet Moments
Bittersweet:
So I was talking about bittersweet moments with some of my friends earlier and about all of the different definitions. One of my dear friends said a bittersweet moment for him is, “The moment I bite into the most delicious tart I have ever tasted and after I have consumed it all I realize there is no more”. Then another one of my friends said a bittersweet moment for them is when, “Those times that seem to cloud our day all of a sudden turn into a sweet moment of joy because in that moment we realize what we need to do to move forward into the directions of our dreams”.
I think bittersweet moments are the combination of the two opinions and more. Bittersweet is such a versatile word; it can be used in so many situations. Maybe that is teaching us that we should be versatile and learn to adjust to new situations by always seeing the good in each moment. It is those moments which can lead to the greatest leaps of growth in our lives.
