I think I have hit a point in my running where I need/want to go farther. Granted I love keeping my weekly runs between 45-60min long because I still have the rest of the day to tackle. So on the weekends I have really been trying to get in long runs, but so far they have only been about 1hr 30 min, which is great, but I want to go farther.
I know I can, but I would like someone else out there with me or know that I got plenty of sleep the night before instead of going out all night, or have some gel blocks with me.
This might be a lesson for myself to be a little more disciplined (not too much though) and not go out one night this weekend and take my long run to 1hr 45 min or 2hr the following morning. I am going to try it this weekend and see what happens because I know I’ve got what it takes!
