PASTA + FRIENDS + FAMILY = good times
Last night, I went out to dinner with one of my closest friends and her family to Figo Pasta. Figo is an original fresh pasta restaurant with awesome homemade pasta and exquisitely created sauces. The atmosphere is always inviting, casual, and friendly. Last night I got the whole wheat ricotta ravioli with arrabiata sauce. The ravioli was perfectly cooked and the sauce was full of flavor, without being overbearingly spicy. I think arrabiata is my new go-to pasta topper. However, the point of this post is to tell you how much I enjoyed last night. Sitting around a rustic wooden table and enjoying the conversation, food, and company made for a perfect Tuesday evening. We nostagically reminisced about hilarious past vacation stories and high school experiences. The friendship I have with my dear friend and her family is one I will always cherish and know it will last a lifetime. We have been buds through thick and thin and can always count on each other. The ambiance of Figo last night just happen to make the experience all the more memorable.
